Unmanned systems first-person view control involves the transmission of video streams from the unmanned system to the operator. In order to ensure the video stream frames timely transmission via the limited bandwidth information exchange channel, the lossy compression of the frames must be introduced. This paper investigates the dependence of the unmanned system operational task success ratio on the objective video stream quality metrics values. Full-scale experiments are conducted using an unmanned ground vehicle and an obstacle course in order to measure the objective video stream quality metrics and record the unmanned system control tasks' success or failure. Based on the logit models, the metric value requirements are established. As a result, for the unmanned system operational task success ratio of 90%, 95%, 97% and 99%, the average values of subjective DISTS and objective SSIM, PSNR video stream quality metrics are determined. The results can be used in the design of classical and neural video codecs.
